This Titus HCR was a little different from most HCR's the drop outs ended up being the same as on the FCR at the time. Mainly beause the HCR's interchangeable drop outs were causing some problems at Titus. So we opted for the standard "non-interchangable" drop outs.
This bike project was for a Customer who does mostly adventure races and longer events. He was coming off of a Cannondale and wanted a bike that was a little more compliant, yet still light and strong. He also wanted it as a complete new bike, with some of the newer component options. We built it up using XTR drivretrain but with the older style XTR trigger shifters. DT Swiss 240 wheelset, Race Face Carbon seatpost and bars. Magura Marta SL Brakes and Fox F80X fork. A little tweeking and adjustments and the bike ended up fitting very well, and has been used quite a bit for racing and training rides. This was our first hardtail Titus and we were all very impressed with the design and constriction of the frame.

Needless to say this was one fast and light bike....
