This Was our first of what we hope to be many Ventana Bikes. Hand built in California with lot of attention to the details. A small company the personal attention and great customer service is what we all look for in any high end product. I have been a fan of Ventana's since the mid 90's when one of my roommates got a Marble Peak FS. This bike is a great set up for Jon who happens to tower over most people at 6'3" - 6'4" tall. THis is his second venture into the 29er bike, the first project was a Salsa Dos Niner. Jon had purchased the Dos niner second hand and never felt that it fit right. So we talked geometries and looked sizes...Oh yea while we were doing all this Jon found out that he had a herniated disc in his lower back. This put him out of commission for a while and just as the Frame arrived he had learned that he had actually popped the problem disc...causing him to go to surgery. What timing !?

Needless to say the surgery went great and he is back to his normal self again...
