Getting to Hines Drive
Directions
The great thing about Hines Drive is that it can be accessed from many roads and cities. The park starts in Dearborn and runs through to Northville. I will give the entrance locations starting in Dearborn.
Ford Road start/end of Hines. At Ford Road just west of Evergreen. Traffic headed west on Ford Rd. may enter via entranced ramp. Several parking areas can be found just after entering the park.
West Outer Drive entrance
, located just North of Ford Road, off West Outer Drive. Head west on
Hines to find the closest parking and picnic area. Bathrooms and playscape are also located here.
Woodbine entrance
, Located just west of telegraph, and south of Ann Arbor trail. Woodbine leads to Hines drive Beech Daily only offers pedestrian access via a paved path.
Inkster entrance, just south of Ann Arbor Trail, Both entrance and exit is possible here, turn left or right to find parking areas.
Merriman entrance, Just north of Warren road the entrance is on the west side of the street. Enter here and you will be about the middle of Hines Drive. Parking can be found right at this entrance, as well as in either direction along Hines Drive. Bathrooms, picnic area also located here.
Ann Arbor & Newburg roads both connect to Hines Drive just south of Plymouth road.
Haggerty entrance is now open again form both north and south directions, enter onto Hines here and notice the ball diamonds, parking areas, picnic, and soccer fields (west on Hines).
Northville Road & Wilcox are both access points for anyone coming from Plymouth. There is a lake separating the two roads, and a parking area can be found both at the lake and across the street.

Continuing west along Hines Drive, Hines connects to Northville Road again for a short section. Head left onto Northville Road (West) under the RR bridge, and just past the 5 Mile road stop light, turn left again to re-enter Hines Drive. Along Northville Road there are several parking areas that connect to Hines Drive as well.
7 Mile Start/End of Hines. At 7 Mile Hines either starts or ends depending on where you begin. Just west of Northville Road and outside of downtown Northville. Head left on 7 mile to find an ice cream stand and party store. If you head left then right on center street to access downtown Northville, shops, bars, coffee shops, bike stores, etc
.
