Getting to Metro Parkway

Directions
The paths which starts or stops in the Metro Beach park is easy to find. It runs parallel with Metro Parkway (A.K.A. 16 Mile Rd., or Big Beaver). You can find parking along the path in the form of grocery stores, fast food chains, some established parks like "Freedom Park" or at the beach. The path nearest the beach is the busiest during the weekends, but the crowds dissipate once you get West of the Grossbeck bridge.

From I-75
Take I-75 to Big Beaver exit. Follow Big Beaver East across Van Dyke, till you hit Schoenherr. The path begins here and heads east to Metro Beach. Locate a parkinglot anyehre between these 2 points. I would suggest parking at Freedom hil (small fee ?), near Crooker, Grossbeck, or Gratiot.
